The TEA, Texas Education Agency, recently released the long delayed school ratings for the 2022-2023 school year. Due to a legal battle contesting how the ratings were determined, the released results are based on an A-F letter grade accountability system that was established in 2017 by House Bill 22. The ratings for the 2023-2024 school year cannot be released due to a separate lawsuit. Ratings were not determined or released for the school years during the pandemic which included 2019 -2020 & 2020 - 2021.
