The Continued Development of Westlake's Entrada

Town of Westlake Entrada Update - January 5, 2022:

Westlake’s Entrada development at the intersection of Highway 114 and Davis Boulevard is gearing up for a big year. Some exciting projects within Entrada’s 85 acres are scheduled for completion later this year while other components will break ground.

If you have been down Solana Boulevard lately, you may have noticed the construction of a building near the Davis intersection, the View at Entrada. This 5,000 square foot office building located between the Primrose School and Solana Boulevard has been framed. Exterior work continues to make progress along with the facility’s electrical and plumbing. Work should wrap up in the summer of 2022 and be ready for tenant occupation.

The buildings that comprise Restaurant Row, almost 40,000 square feet of restaurant space, are complete. Interior finish-outs along with the announcement of tenants will most likely take place in the summer. Restaurant Row, along with Entrada’s chapel and reception hall, are anticipated to open to the public late this fall contingent upon the completion of a parking garage along with a street connection from the soon to be completed Highway 114 service road to Entrada.

As stated in the latest construction schedule provided by the developer, starting this spring, the three components of the development’s amenity core will begin to take shape. First, the Plaza Mayor, the key public gathering area and central amenity for the development, is expected to break ground. Phase one of the Plaza project will include up to 100 luxury condominiums framing a portion of the Plaza.

In addition to the Plaza, Town Council approved the construction of a residential repository, a 5-story multi-use facility located in the heart of Entrada. The first three floors will offer unique conditioned storage spaces that allow users to store a variety of collections from cars and art to wine. The fourth floor will house flexible office space and the top floor will be the site of a roof-top bar and tapas venue. The top floor’s outdoor patio will overlook Restaurant Row, the chapel and reception hall, the Plaza Mayor, and the harbor with amazing views.

Finally, at the site of the former gas well pad, another multi-use building will be constructed. Work is anticipated to start this summer on a building that will provide additional office space, retail, and an open-air event and entertainment area that will bring additional activity and amenities to the heart of the development.

While construction continues throughout the site, Town Staff has been working with the developer, Centurion American, and builders to ensure that the area stays clean. Debris and trash are removed from the site daily.

According to the developer, Entrada will really start to transform over the course of the year and we are excited to see its evolution into a premier destination development.
