Carroll ISD
Carroll ISD is a highly rated five tier system that prides itself on its excellent academics, extracurricular and competitive athletics programs.
Carroll ISD is a K-12 public school system with a 21-square-mile district consisting of 11 schools serving more than 8,500 students and 1,100 employees. The district is one of the largest in the state of Texas to earn the highest ratings by the Texas Education Agency. Carroll ISD prides itself on its excellent academics and competitive athletics programs.
Approximately 98 percent of Carroll's seniors go on to attend a college or university after graduation. More than 90 percent of Carroll students take a college entrance exam, with composite scores on the SAT and ACT that exceed state and national averages. Carroll offers a full array of Advanced Placement and Honors courses, a challenging curriculum for gifted and talented students and special programs for students with special needs. Carroll ISD students advance through a five-tier system: Elementary (grades K-4), Intermediate (grades 5-6), Middle (grades 7-8), High School (grade 9-10) and Senior High School (11-12).
