Vaquero Club

Vaquero was developed in 2001 by the Discovery Land Company, a developer of world-renowned domestic and international resort styled residential communities to feature a master-planned community surrounding a Tom Fazio designed 18-hole golf course with private golf club. Formerly a part of Circle T Ranch, Vaquero is characterized by the mature oak trees, rolling hills & multiple ponds which sets the stage for the serenity & privacy within. The Vaquero Club offers a broad array of amenities catering to wide demographic of members & residents. The diversity of homes in the neighborhood range from villa homes on 0.33 acre lots to estate homes on multiple acre homesites creates a diversity amongst the membership ranging from young families to empty nesters to retirees unified by the lifestyle of Vaquero.

 

The Club offers Golf Membership or Social Membership both with equity benefits to residents & non-residents alike. Club amenities include golf, tennis, pickleball, fitness, fishing, swimming, dining, spa, kids club & an extensive member concierge program customized to the lifestyle of the members and includes features such as on-site car wash, dry cleaning, airport transportation, house/dog sitting, floral services & much more.  

 

Golf is the core of the Vaquero member experience with a spectacular private course created by world-renowned designer Tom Fazio. The course features a classic, playable design that makes artful use of the rolling terrain, shady oaks, quiet ponds and unique sand bunkers.

 

This easy-to-walk Par 71 course is designed to gratify golfers of all levels. Players with higher to moderate handicaps enjoy the picturesque fairways, while those hitting from the championship tees find themselves considerably challenged.

 

The Club has four tennis courts & 3 pickleball courts with a full time tennis professional on staff. The Vaquero tennis program provides instruction, recreational play & competitive play for players of all levels & ages.

 

The Clubhouse expansion in 2017 created a new larger fitness facility which added work out rooms, access directly to the men's & women's locker rooms & a dedicated entrance. The fitness center features a variety of cardio equipment, free weights & bands, and trainer equipment. Multiple trainers are available and a schedule of group classes that cater to the membership's preferences. 

 

A unique Vaquero amenity is Fish Camp, a fixed pier dock on the main lake with a rustic structure that houses all the equipment needed to catch the Bass, Catfish & Brim stocked in the lake! Fish camp houses canoes & paddle boats, a boat for Bass fishing and even has a camp fire pit. 

 

Located in the heart of the neighborhood, the pool is a seasonal amenity open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The recreational pool features an infinity edge overlooking the adjacent community lake and a separate sand edged kid's play pool. The Pool House Grill is also a seasonal amenity that serves a casual menu poolside & on the covered patio. The community center that is open year round houses a sport court, playground & fishing dock. 

 

Clubhouse grill & bar features indoor & outdoor dining with breakfast, lunch & dinner menus in addition to cocktails, beer & wine. 

 

Men's & women's locker rooms not only have additional dining areas but also have a private spa that provide a variety of massage, esthetic & beauty care options.

 

The retail shop caters to golfers, fitness buffs & tennis players while also offering casual wear, gifts & accessories.

 

Kids Club is designed to give the young members a place to play, grow & learn.

 

Vaquero strives to provide members & residents with a member services program that is customized to their individual lifestyles. Club staff provides services directly such as on site car wash, airport transportation & dry cleaning while an extended member services program can provide residential maintenance options, private event & catering services, valet, dog sitting, floral & plant services and any other need a member may have.
